Alterations and additions on a budget to a house for a couple with three children in Sydney's North Shore. The house was the subject of prior alterations and our client, wanted to improve the existing character, in particular the access and the front elevation, and change some of the planning of the house. A new carport was built, the access stair and first level terrace were redesigned, a fourth bedroom was created, the living area opened up to the entry circulation, the laundry refurbished, tiling and colour schemes altered, storage area and joinery units added. The renovated house had to comply with bushfire regulations which required extensive documentation.
