Harbour View House,, Mosman, Sydney Australia

Before

This house was  designed by the architect, furniture designer and cabinet maker Emil Sodersten (1899-1961). The house was fortress like and its only connection to the external environment was through windows, entry and service door. The opening up of the rear wall and addition of a large covered deck running all along the back of the property, provides a great entertainment area with a magnificent harbour view. It also connects via a stair the house to the garden and the pool.
