The building by architects F. Kolos & J.H. Bryant was built in the 1960's. It has a unique floor plan giving each apartment three external walls and only one party wall, providing optimum daylighting and views over the adjacent Cooper Park. The wall between the living room and kitchen was removed, a new ceiling and new parquetry floors improve the quality of space and light. The parquetry flooring continues to a small deck on the balcony. The kitchen joinery, and the storage and shelving units opening onto the living room are all white. The white is offset by the warmth of the wooden floors and the colours of the paintings and furniture.
