This large new house on a prominent corner in a prestige Melbourne suburb was designed with entertaining in mind. The old house on the site was to be demolished. Our client had an extensive art collection of including Australian paintings which they wanted to display on the internal walls of the house, including an area specifically designated as a private gallery. This is the central vaulted space in the house. An entertaining wing houses a dining area to seat twenty guests and summer and winter living areas. A private living wing features a family room with kitchen and childrens' bedrooms downstairs, and the master bedroom suite upstairs.
