ExistingAlterations and additions to an upper floor apartment in an interwar apartment building, intended to extend the apartment into the roofspace to create more internal space and to capture more of the dramatic area views. The new loft spaces would create workspace for our software developer client and the new higher ceilings make the apartment feel larger and give a new unique spatial character to the old building. The new apartment loft is extended over the upper floor common hallway of the building, thereby adding more to the floor area of the apartment.
