Alterations and additions to a 1960's house on a sloped bushy site. The house has no physical connection to the landscape, giving a sense of living in a fishbowl. The proposal connects the house to the landscape through a series of decks sitting at different levels. These decks link the living areas with the bedrooms downstairs and the sandstone boulders down the slope. The top level has a new study and a sculpting workshop, both taking advantage of the beach views. The roof opens up to the north for maximum light access.
